Using Viewing Room - Clients
1. VIEWING ROOMS - BS and SS
This guide will talk you through on the best practices for a secured and uninterrupted meeting or presentation at the Evolutions viewing rooms. Please if in doubt or if you need any help setting up your meeting, feel free to contact IT which will be more than happy to help you with the setting up process. We do advise to be contacted at least 20 minutes prior (especially if the meeting is not happening in where our office is based).
2. EVOSVR -SHARED ACCOUNT FOR VIEWING ROOM PCS AT BOTH LOCATIONS
When you first power on the viewing room PC (SS/BS) you will automatically be signed into the PC as “evosvr”. Please bear in mind that this is a shared account and any files that are dropped into the desktop will stay there unless you delete them.
If you would like to sign in with your personal account that’s also an option but please be advised this might take a while to sign in since all your files need to be synchronized with the staff file server.
2.1. SIGN INTO TEAMS
After signing in with the evosvr user you can sign into teams with your work email. Your teams account will automatically be signed out once you restart the PC or sign out the main (evosvr) user out. A good practice after the meeting can be to restart the PC so it clears all your Teams information as well as leaving it ready for the next person to use.
2.2. USING THE WEB BROWSERS
Even if evosvr is a shared account you can still be assured that not of your browsing history, passwords or email sessions will remain in the browser cache. To achieve this the three most used browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Chrome) will open in private/incognito mode when executed from any of the desktop shortcuts.
